While the Brazilian star has been famous for over a decade now, his first meeting with  Diego Maradona  dates back to his time as a young teenager when he was playing for Santos. Tottenham are at an advanced stage in discussions to sign Matt Doherty from Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers.
